Productions directory not created by *.llp launch

Upon initial install of Limelight, launching an *.llp file (by double-clicking on it) does not create the productions directory - throws an error in producter.rb: 227 - Unknown Error, mkdir failed (SystemCallError).
This applies to Windows, Limelight v. 0.5.5; not sure about Mac.
Launching the Limelight executable puts the directory (C:\Documents and Settings\Library IT\Application Data\Limelight\Productions) in place, and subsequent *.llp runs work fine.
