Limelight applications are not accessible
Reported by Charles Oliver Nutter | October 30th, 2009 @ 12:59 PM | in Limelight 0.6
I don't know where you'd even start to make Limelight apps accessible, but it's going to come up sooner or later. Currently, there's no way for a screen-reader to understand what's happening in the Limelight UI. None of the widgets register as accessible entities. A related bug mentions that text isn't even selectable. In order for many companies to consider using Limelight for real applications, accessibility will have to be addressed.

This is definitely a known short coming of Limelight. Since Limelight does not make use of Swing, it doesn't get the accessibility features for free. But after a cursory look at the Java Accessibility API (http://java.sun.com/products/jfc/tsc/articles/accessibility/index.h..., adding accessibility to Limelight should be fairly straight forward.
